This essential oil is extracted from Mastic, a resin obtained from the mastic tree (Pistacia lentiscus). It is also known as tears of Chios, being traditionally produced on the island Chios, and, like other natural resins, is produced in “tears” or droplets.
Warm, earthy, and herbal, with hints of resin, mastic essential oil?s aroma blends well with many other oils. It?s a relaxing oil that strengthens the spirit to persevere, and can soothe the body through discomfort.
