Premium Sandalwood Powder – Australia is made from the lower part of the tree where there is higher oil content. This is processed into a particle about the consistency of almond meal. This powder is used in premium incense making and for cosmetics. Can be burned on its own by making a little pyramid in a heat proof dish and lighting the top.

Australian Sandalwood
Sandalwood has been used as a holy incense since the beginning of time. Early on, people observed that Sandalwood was never attacked by termites, which may have led to its reputation as a protective wood. The scent is believed to be one of the most pleasing to the gods. It is believed to have cooling and soothing properties, and to direct one’s attention toward the divine realms. It is popular in blended incense and combines well with the sacred resins Frankincense and Myrrh.
Premium Superfine Sandalwood Powder – Australia is made from Western Australian Wild Sandalwood that has naturally died in the desert and collected from the desert floor. This powder is a premium superfine powder similar consistency to a talcum powder. This powder has around 1.5% essential oil content and is often used in cosmetics for mud masks, in soap or gentle exfoliant. Traditionally used to reduce redness, colour spots and inflammation. Mix with rose water or milk for a simple mask treatment.
