Description
Myrrh resin is a natural gum. It has been used historically as a perfume, incense and medicine. Myrrh is used externally in liniments for bruises, aches, and sprains or healing salves that can be applied to abrasions and other minor skin ailments. Myrrh is used as an antiseptic in mouthwashes, gargles, and toothpastes. It has also been shown to be effective in fighting certain types of parasitic infections.
Our latest batch of Myrrh is a beautiful raw gum harvested from the Commiphora molmol tree. Being a raw product it may have some natural impurities like small pieces of bark. There is nothing in it that can be harmful to you, but if you are going to use it as a mouthwash or antiseptic, we recommend rinsing it with some water first.
