Description

The name for the festival of the Spring Equinox in Druidry is Alban Eilir, meaning the “The Light of the Earth”.

As the Sun grows warmer, so life begins to show through the soil. Plants are seen by some as inanimate greenery with no actual feelings and life force. But Druids see life in all living things, from rocks and stones, to rivers and springs, plants and trees – all life is sacred.

Have you ever thought about how you recognise the beginning of Spring? Is it the plant life? The weather? How does a plant know when it is time to grow? It cannot tell the time or see a calendar. Yet it knows. If it has senses, then it has consciousness, if it has consciousness then it is more than an inanimate life form. So it is the return of life to the Earth that is celebrated at Alban Eilir, the time of balance. [1]

The Incense blend has been carefully developed using all natural ingredients including 9 Herbs,  9 Essential Oils and 4 Wood Powders that are sacred or significant to the time of Alban Eilir.

The incense sticks are 19cm long and come in small (1.5mm diameter) in a pack of 27 or large (3.5mm diameter) in a pack of 11. The incense coils are 55mm in diameter and have a burn length of 300mm and come in a pack of 7.

The essential oil blend has been carefully developed using 9 Pure Essential Oils that are sacred or significant to the time of Alban Eilir, and is for use in an Oil Burner, Aroma Pendant or for anointing both people and sacred tools.

Why not try them all with a Sample Pack!
